About Garden Forest

Welcome to Garden Forest, a flower farm on a sunny, five-acre hill surrounded by wetlands in the forest project boundry of the Northern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Our story begins in 2018 when my father, partner, children, and I established our home and flower farm in this ecologically magnificent and incredibly fragile place, with a mission to provide luxury flowers, but with wildflower energy, grown ethically in our wildlife habitat certified farm. Our flowers are grown for our CSA members, and for retailers who carry Garden Forest's retail flower bouquets, jar arrangements, and feature our bouquet bars.

At Garden Forest, we unwaveringly grow and cultivate flowers in a wildlife-friendly way, with no pesticides or chemical fertilizers. We take pride in growing connoisseur quality cut-flower varieties of high-end flowers, all cultivated by hand, surrounded by safe, healthy wildlife, and visited by birds, bees, and beneficial insects that live amongst native plants, clean water sources, and in a chemical-free environment.

Garden Forest flowers are available in bouquet bars, bouquets, and jar arrangements at retailers, as well as directly through CSA flower bouquet subscriptions as local deliveries or pick ups at various convenient locations.

The purchase of Garden Forest flowers is an investment in this precious space for wildlife. Our gently sloping hill was previously tilled acreage growing corn and soybeans with pesticides, herbicides, and very serious erosion concerns to the wetland around it. Now, Garden Forest has been converted into a contour farming model that is mostly no-till, and works to protect wetland ecology. No pesticides are used at our flower farm. We also utilize hugulkultur, composting, local organic mushroom and leaf compost byproduct reclamation, and other gentle practices, create wildlife-safe areas in the farm, plant and restore native plants, and provide fresh water sources and habitat.

At Garden Forest, we pride ourselves on the slow flower movement, where we focus on quality over quantity. My personal education, a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from UWM, classes in the Horticulture Department of MATC, and the Master Gardener's classes, has inadvertently contributed to Garden Forest evolving into a luxury brand, I believe as a result of two fundamental factors combining. My fine art education instilled a process in me that I have naturally applied to my flower growing: create, submit for critique, improve, create, submit, improve- to create the finest result for display. This process, combined with my horticultural background and unwaving efforts to do all of my growing practices by hand, without any pesticides, created a high-end, slow flowers product that has been appreciated by flower enthusiasts. As I continue to add harder to grow, and more elegant flowers to our offerings, I find our flowers more and more appreciated and reserved.

My artworks are created from the botanicals grown and foraged here at Garden Forest. My wildflower aesthetic bouquet bars, flower bouquets, and botanical artworks reflect our love for nature and the environment.

I would love for you to follow Garden Forest's journey on Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, sign up for our newsletter, and learn more about our flower bouquets, wildflower aesthetic bouquet bars, and botanical artworks. Thank you for supporting our flower farm and our commitment to the environment.
